Dr. Bruce Houman
Dr. Bruce Houman received his urological training at New York Medical College . He started his practice in California in 1985, and soon established The Urology Center of Southern California Medical Group, where he serves as director. Dr. Houman specializes in urological surgeries for malignancies, and adult, pediatric and female urology. He has a special interest and additional training in the field of male infertility, microsurgery, no scalpel vasectomy, erectile dysfunction,in continence, and reconstructive surgery for adults and children.

Dr. Houman realized the need for urological care in the community and has established fully equipped modern urology clinics that can provide a wide array of services including Video Endoscopic Procedures, Laser, Ultrasound, Microsurgery, and Microwave and TUNA Prostate Thermotherapy.

Dr. Houman has published several articles in the journal of Urology and he has patented medical devices he invented. He is often the featured speaker on various urological subjects at meetings of his peers as well as public informational presentations.

Dr. Sy Tsi
Dr. Tsi received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He then attended medical school at the University of Minnesota, where he also completed his Urology Residency. He is Board- Certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Tsi specializes in Female Urology, Men?Ts Health, Urological Malignancies, and Laparoscopic Surgery. He has special interest and training in the treatment of prostate cancer and enlargement with non- invasive prostate procedures (Laser Vaporization, Cooled Thermo- Therapy Microwave, TUNA, Cryo- ablation, and Radioactive Seed Implantation). Dr. Tsi also specializes in non- invasive female urological procedures (vaginal sling), laparoscopic kidney surgery, endo-urology for stone disease and male infertility. He has numerous publications and regularly speaks at various meetings.

Dr. Edward J.Yun
Dr. Edward J. Yun earned his medical degree from Columbia University in New York. He then completed a six-year residency in surgery and urology at the University of California, San Francisco. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Yun specializes in laparoscopic surgery for urologic malignancies, and minimally invasive procedures for conditions such as prostate enlargement, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and male infertility. He is currently Chief of Urology at Riverside Community Hospital, a position for which he was elected by his peers.

Dr. Yun has published numerous articles and book chapters in the fields of laparoscopy and oncology. As a urology faculty member, he teaches residents and medical students, and lectures regularly on the topics of erectile dysfunction, overactive bladder, and conditions involving the prostate. A strong advocate for his patients, Dr. Yun received the prestigious 2009 "Patients' Choice Award", a national distinction. He also serves as an expert witness in medicolegal cases involving urologic issues.

Dr. Gerald Yoon
Dr. Gerald Yoon received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He then completed a general surgery and urology residency program at the University of Southern California before completing a one year fellowship at Kaiser Permanente ?"Los Angeles Medical Center in Endourology and Urologic Laparoscopy. He is Board-Certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Yoon specializes in Laproscopic & Minimally Invasive Surgery techniques in the treatment of a wide variety of urologic diseases including cancers of the genitourinary system, stone disease, benign prostate enlargement, female urology and pediatric urology. He is an expert in performing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy as well as reconstructive laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Yoon has published articles in major medical and urologic journals as well as authored chapters in urologic textbooks. He is a regular participant in regional and national urology conferences.

Dr. Ken Takesita
Dr. Ken Takesita completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and then received his medical degree from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He remained at USC for his general surgery and urology residency training.

He went on to additional fellowship training in Laparoscopy, Robotics and Endo-urology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is Board-Eligible by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Takesita specializes in minimally invasive urologic techniques including Da Vinci Robotic surgery. He is fully trained in open and minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of kidney stone disease, urologic cancer, prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence/female urology, neurogenic bladder, and pediatric urologic diseases. He has a special interest in the use of the Da Vinci Robot in the treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the kidney and prostate.

Dr. Takesita has published in major urologic journals and has been extensively involved in research in the areas of prostate cancer and minimally invasive urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association and American Endo-urological Society, and was selected by the Consumer's Research Council of America as one of "America's Top Urologists?. He has given numerous presentations on various topics in urology and is a regular participant in educational conferences and seminars.
