Gerald Yoon, MD
About Me
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where I lived until graduating high school. I enjoyed playing a variety of sports and was a young musician, playing the violin for most of my childhood. I went on to attend Duke University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry. I remain a diehard Blue Devil fan to this day. I received medical training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia where I first became exposed to the field of urology. I participated in multiple clinical urology rotations as well as research projects. I currently reside in sunny Southern California with my lovely wife and three energetic boys. When not working in my busy urology practice or chasing after my three boys, I enjoy watching sports, playing golf and date nights with my wife.
About My Practice
I cover a wide range of urologic conditions. I am pleased to see young and old as well as male and female patients. I aim to deliver personalized and compassionate urologic care to all my patients while employing the latest and newest techniques and knowledge in the field of urology. I am particularly interested in the use of minimally-invasive techniques for treating urinary stone disease and urologic cancer.
